Since 1943, the Edward Köehn Company has had a tradition of innovating, adapting, and providing quality machined products. With the passage of time, many things have changed around the shop, but now three generations later, grandson, Edward J. Köehn, continues to honor a legacy with a strategic and precise revolution of the Köehn brand.

Playing to the uniqueness of the family’s last name, we found no better way than to create a brand identity focusing on the clear presentation of “Köehn”. Employing the use of italicized geometric type form to convey precision and directness along with an approachable color palette was a big step forward to the present for the Edward Köehn Company.
